Dear Student,
Welcome to Ireland!
We hope you had a safe and smooth journey.
In order to assist your transition to Ireland we would like you to read the following guidelines carefully and send us the required documentsvia email only.

Please send us a PDF scan of your entry stamp into Ireland.
Please complete the attached student forms.
Please send us your permanent address when you have it.

We advise that you set up a bank account with AIB or Bank of Ireland. You will need a letter from the University as well as a sponsorship letter. The sponsorship letter will be issued to you once you provide your address to us.
Once you have set up your bank account (activated) please send us a PDF scan of the bank details provided to you. It is very important that the account is active before a payment is made. In order to confirm the account has been activated you will be required to deposit a small payment into the account and confirm the payment has been deposited successfully.
In order to obtain proof of health insurance, you will need to download the ‘Laya App’ in order to obtain your membership certificate.
The membership certificate can be found in the ‘document’ section of the Laya App.
All students must register with the Irish Immigration Service after they have registered with their University and before the expiry date stamped on their passport by immigration officials at the airport.

The Health Insurance membership certificate will be required for your residency permit application.

Attendance in the University/School is mandatory. You are required to maintain at least 85% attendance. The Cultural Office will be deducting the days absent from the monthly allowance for students whose attendance falls below 85%.
If you wish to visit the Kuwait Cultural Office, then you will need to make an appointment in advance and let us know the purpose of your visit.
